Founded in 1921 in Florence, Italy by Guccio Gucci, Italian luxury brand Gucci is one of the most recognized in the world. Its famous tagline, “Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten,” still resonates today. The fashion house produces handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, watches, shoes, accessories, makeup, and fragrances. It even has a home décor division, Gucci Décor. Gucci’s distinct designs and logo are among the most counterfeited in the world, but that hasn’t slowed the brand's continuous success. During World War II, the famous Double-G logo and Gucci stripe (two green stripes with a red bar) debuted and remain the iconic symbol of the brand. Gucci is a subsidiary of the French luxury group Kering with over 485 stores worldwide and an annual revenue of almost $10 billion.
