Hamilton

Swiss watch manufacturer Hamilton started as an American company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892. The brand was very influential in the 20th century railroad industry, owning over 50% of the market at one point, but is arguably best known for its military field watches and asymmetrical Ventura line. During World War II, civilian production stopped for a time to supply US and ally soldiers. In 1961, Elvis Presley made the Ventura watch legendary in his movie, Blue Hawaii. The line would gain further fame in the Men in Black movies. In fact, Hamilton watches have appeared in over 500 movies with a commemorative regulator watch produced in 2018. Hamilton is now a subsidiary of the Swatch Group with affordable mechanical and quartz collections including Khaki Fields, Venturas, chronographs, and even retro digital watches.
